Monthly Parish Lunch

Our monthly Parish Lunch is back. At St John’s coming together for food is a big part of our community spirit, and it’s a pleasure to come together after our 11:15am service each month to join together enjoying good food and good company.

Easter Celebrations

It was wonderful to celebrate Holy Week and Easter with so many of our congregation as well as enjoying a range of activities with the younger members of our community, including preparing our Easter Garden.

Christingle Service

Our beautiful, candlelit Christingle service was a magical way to enjoy our Christmas celebrations

Pet Service

All creatures great and small were invited to our pet service in October with our furry friends enjoying games and treats and a competition to see which pet looked most like their owner!

It was a slightly noisier service than usual, but a great joy to celebrate our pets who bring us much happiness.

Thanksgiving Service

We were delighted to celebrate a service of thanksgiving for the gift of healing last Sunday with Patience and her family and friends. Sundays will never be the same and we floated the idea of singing and dancing down the aisle on a monthly basis! A magnificent and spirit-filled time was had by all and we look forward to a repeat performance when another member of the congregation wants to mark a special event.

Our monthly all-age service flew in to save the day with a superhero theme! Children came dressed as superheros and completed superhero challenges as part of our Junior Church. A service thoroughly enjoyed by all ages!

Super Services!

Celebrating Corpus Christi

Reverend Ruth’s Priesting

In June we were delighted to celebrate Revd Ruth’s Priesting at St Pancras New Church, Euston. The following day Revd Ruth led her first Holy Communion followed by a celebration between our two churches with plenty of food and good company. Congratulations to Revd Ruth!

Corpus Christi celebrates the institution of Holy Communion through procession of the Sacrament during the service. Children enjoyed a Corpus Christi themed Junior Church and dressed as angels to help lead the procession.
