Sundays at St John’s

Every Sunday morning we meet as a community to worship God and receive Him in the Eucharist. There are two services on a Sunday morning.

9:00 - Low Mass
This is a short reflective service and lasts about 30mins. The Eucharist is administered from the reserved sacrament. The service includes a short reflection or homily.

11:15 - Parish Eucharist with Junior Church
This service includes hymns, a sermon and we celebrate the Eucharist. Junior Church meet in their various groups for stimulating, fun-filled sessions with children their age. They join the adult congregation for the Eucharist and we very much look forward to them sharing what they have done with the grown-ups towards the end of the service.

All-Age Celebrations (every first Sunday)
On the first Sunday of every month, we have our all-age celebration - a chance for people of all ages to come together and worship. This service is intentionally designed to engage children. It has an informal feel, and an engaging message, which invites participation from the very youngest to the very oldest members of the congregation.

Community Lunch (every third Sunday)
At St John's we believe that church isn't just about worshipping together, it is just as much about sharing life (and food!!!) together. Our Community Lunch, which takes place after the 11:15am service on the third Sunday of each month, is a central part of our life together. Delicious food is prepared by a team of volunteers for us to enjoy together. There is no charge and everyone is welcome.
